This piece was one of my first finals as a freshmen in college, so it hold a lot of nostalgia for me. If I remember correctly, the assignment was to focus in on one object in the set up but I misunderstood and drew the entire thing. I had fun regardless, mainly because I love drawing fabric. I started out by sketching out where I wanted the highest point of the pile of things to start on my page and then slowly worked my way down the structure. I went back in and added values where they needed to be. There wasn’t a whole lot of technical thinking put into this one (I hadn’t really learned anything yet, keyword: freshmen.)
