Artist Bio

I am an illustrator and graphic designer based in Nederland, TX and have been attending Lamar University in Beaumont, TX in hopes of getting a BFA in Graphic Design with a focus in illustration. I have had an interest in illustration since I was a small kid; I used to get in trouble from drawing in class all the time and I still have my first sketchbook. Most of my personal work involves digital illustrations of average people doing day to day things but with a monster-esque twist. I enjoy the idea of the supernatural and what it could be while contrasting it with everyday experiences. As a graphic designer, I have always indulged in vibrant colors and sharp graphics. I knew I wanted to be a graphic designer when I was in middle school because I loved making power points a little too much. The more I learn and study about both the history of illustration and graphic design, the more passionate I’ve become about them.
